let's play!
just this morning, I helped out at the playgroup (at the current church I've been attending). it was certainly a delightful experience where I get to hang out with toddlers. they come in all shape and sizes! all cute, pudgy and came with their fair share of drool. though a handful of them couldn't talk (just yet). they looked lost when my friend and I asked them 'what's your name?'.
had an interesting conversation with a 3 year old boy:
me: what's your name?
boy: anthony
me: how old are you?
boy: 3 years old
me: where do you stay?
boy: in a house
isn't he the cutest? my 2h was definitely rewarding especially when this little jap & aussie mix boy warmed up to me. by the end of our playtime, he kept coming to me, returned my 'hi-5' and never held back his smile when being talked to ((:
I've been hearing from people who studied pyschology that a mother plays an extremely vital role in a child's development from 0-7. exceptionally thankful for my parents and someday I hope to be the best mother I can be.
*Jesus loves the little children. and so do I, very much indeed <3
