LIFE'S BEEN GOOD
I confess I've been eating ice cream almost every other day. no kidding
* this is my virgin blog post on my Macbook Pro! wheeeee
"how have you been?" if you might ask. life's simply getting better for me (: like really.
in case you do not know, I'd be flying off to study in Perth on a 9am flight on the 20th July; at the university of western Australia. there's a story behind it (how I changed my mind on studying overseas and was offered a place there.. so ask me!). will be studying bachelor of commerce for 2 years. don't you worry as I'd be back during my summer vacation in November. I did the math and I'll only be away for 4 months, 16 weeks or 112 days. it'd be a quickie.
putting that aside, it's been 3 weeks since I've been working at Marks&Spencer, Centrepoint. I dare say that this has been by far the best work place. why? firstly, I'm in an all ladies department. ( I'm starting to see the trend of God placing me in an all girls environment. there's cell, my hostel and now work!) looking on the bright side, room for distraction is essentially kept at an all time low. thank You God! anyways, my colleagues are genuinely nice as we always have lunch as a department plus am always told to go home at 6pm. it's surprising that I do look forward to go to work and time passes really quickly (there's always something to be done). what's more I do not have to panic and or act busy when I've got nothing to do. *what a total relief
everyday's always filled with interesting events like I once issued a female staff a male top to try on and it fit. it doesn't stop there as on a second occasion I issued a guy a female pants, it fit too but he mentioned that it fitted him quite weirdly. with all that said, it's definitely a double confirmation that I'm not meant to work in the retail line.
ending off, there's a list of things I hope to do before I fly off. on top of my 'to do list' is meeting up with various people for dinner (yes you!). so do feel free to date me for lunch/dinner <3
