KFC giggles

on my journey to school, I made an effort to notice what was going around me and I was pleasantly surprised by the interesting sights which caught my attention. one of them was a pink sari flapping away on the door of the taxi. I giggled to myself when I saw an indian lady ( not that I'm racist) sitting all poised in the cab, with her sash of sari sticking out of the cab! she must have not pulled her train of sari with her when entering the cab, hence it got caught! that certainly was amusing and made me giggle silently to myself as I made my way to business school.

friend: you've not eaten in kfc before?!
me: yeah sorta. my parents has never brought me to kfc!

the heat was sweltering and we had to find refuge in an air condition fast food for lunch. surprise surprise, kfc. honestly, I've never eaten the kfc opposite my school, neither the one near at eastpoint ( which I'm a simeirian and have been living in simei for the past 13 years). why I don't I eat at kfc if you might ask, I shall say their chickens are being forced feed. ( for now)

low and behold, I ended up ordering the shrooms burger under the wow meal. guess its 'wow' as my meal only cost $3.30 with fries and 7-up. surprisingly I enjoyed the tiny burger and enjoyed the company of my classmates MORE!

verdict? guess it'll be my first and last dining at kfc*!

shall end off ranting about me having my study break during the chinese new year week! *mumble, grumble, bummer oh well. I pray that everyday when I wake up, besides looking forward to eat breakfast ( which I'm extremely excited every morning) I'd be extremely motivated to hit my books. amen! I'll console myself by snacking on pineapple tarts while mugging. ha!

class photo after wellness activity!

me happily receiving a certificate from Miss Lessa Rawlings ( a guest)

it was very nice of miss Lessa Rawlings to give me tips on how to improve my presentation skills.

me and my other 2 beautiful presenters!

IT'S FEBRUARY!

the snap shots above sums what I've been up to since my extremely past entry. I've FINALLY graduated from kelly services attachment. so long to the morning madness where I have to be in kelly services career centre ( in my poly) at 8:30am SHARP. we will be marked late if we were to come at 8:31am! yes its supremely strict. time does flies and I can bid a final goodbye to my 3 months of attachment at kelly(:

it was uber sweet for my classmates to surprise me with breadtalk chocolate cake on my birthday. I thank God for such a wonderful class that's filled with nice and hilarious people. I must say that it's the most bonded class I've been in my 2 years of poly(: am praying and crossing my fingers that we're not changing class next semester!

with the wave of presentations and report submissions over, comes a new wave that consists of MAIN EXAMS!!! this chinese new year, I will be spending most of my time at my study table, absorbing as much information as I can from my lecture notes....

I know it's kinda abrupt for me to say that I'm FINALLY 19 and am LEGAL! I remember I've been looking forward to turn 19 since I was 15 as I could get attach! turning 19 makes me set my priorities right as it's my last year of being a youth and I want to spend it serving God in my ministries ( cell and rangers). I strongly believe that everything else will definitely fall into place(;
