girls and weighing scales
I was elated when I knew that my height's 160cm*! that was yesterday when my domestic helper helped me to take my height. yeah, I know its not all that accurate, but that was enough to make me as happy as a bubble! hopefully, it wont burst.
at 160cm* and weighing 46kg* (even after a buffet) I am proud to say that I am healthy!
I hate it when people call me 'skinny', 'thin' or feel weird when called 'slim' I'd rather be called HEALTHY! the word 'fat' does not exist in my dictionary. I often feel sad when girls call themselves 'fat', look it up in oxford dictionary and you'll get, adj, plump; containing much fat; thick, substantial. and trust me, they are no where near there!
its natural for girls to grade their self worth base on the number that appears on their weighing scales. especially nowadays where being 'thin' is the 'in' thing. magazine covers boast of girls/woman in skimpy bikinis that make you feel 10 times heavier just by looking at them!
current fashion, accessories! skinny jeans, leggings, mini dresses... and mine consists of the ever green, *drums roll, t-shirt, jeans and my beloved sneakers!
to all the girls out there, do not let a piece of cloth, accessory or the number that appears on the weighing scale determine how you feel about yourself cos you ARE wonderfully and beautifully created(:
