Marriage and baking

on sunday after my youth service, we were given our personal information to check. in it had the usual stuff with a little extra. extra? they were my marriage date and apparently I had the same marriage date as a guy in my cell! laughs. so it seems that I'm married*!
of course they made a terrible mistake and I wasn't the only married one.

the guy: huh. we have the same date of marriage!

me: but I can bake!

the guy: I can eat!

someone: no wonder you two are married to each other!!

at the bottom of the paper, we had to fill in our skill, talent and gift. I left the talent portion blank and wrote baking as my skill. yes! baking is my new skill! in fact, its an extremely fresh and newly acquired one!
the thing I simply love about baking is how time flies when you're having fun in the kitchen ( the higher level of fun increases when baking with my girlfriends!). mixing the raw ingredients together with lots of love and poof! it becomes something edible! I LOVE baking cookies and cakes! the best part? indulging them^^

my ever supportive mother's gonna get me my very OWN mixer! she even suggested that I take up baking classes during my holiday. triple yay!!! just the thought of feeding 'hungry' people and filling their stomachs with love( calories and sugar!) is enough to inspire me to bake for Singapore*! hahahas

and as the saying goes, "the way to get through a man's heart is through his stomach!" so don't say I didn't warn you, guys! I'd guard my stomach if I were you.

tick away!

time flies!!!!! so much things have happened since my outdated previous post! changes are no doubt inevitable, I dare say I'm becoming more and more beautiful in the image of God(daily). through events in my life that stretched me evenly through emotionally, physically (darkening of eye bags due to the sacrifice of my beauty sleep) and spiritually.
to those who do not have both the honor and opportunities to see me everyday or week, here's a short 'album' of photos of how I'm doing! p.s my curls are looser! laughs.

enjoy!!

one the left is my size 4.5 converse sneaker aka school shoe which I wear everyday!

this is my FAVORITE picture of the few my girlfriend helped me take for a resume* shall tell you more when they get back to me! *crossing my fingers. p.s told you my curls were looser.

credits to the fair and pretty camera woman for the awesome pictures taken!

me with moi sexy and alluring cello! one thing we have in common, my hips are wide as him!

looks nice but I'm sure my lao shi has lots of areas to correct my posture!!

I couldn't be happier when my section leader told us that we could bring the cellos home to practice!!! *jumps for joy.

girls and weighing scales

I was elated when I knew that my height's 160cm*! that was yesterday when my domestic helper helped me to take my height. yeah, I know its not all that accurate, but that was enough to make me as happy as a bubble! hopefully, it wont burst.

at 160cm* and weighing 46kg* (even after a buffet) I am proud to say that I am healthy!
I hate it when people call me 'skinny', 'thin' or feel weird when called 'slim' I'd rather be called HEALTHY! the word 'fat' does not exist in my dictionary. I often feel sad when girls call themselves 'fat', look it up in oxford dictionary and you'll get, adj, plump; containing much fat; thick, substantial. and trust me, they are no where near there!

its natural for girls to grade their self worth base on the number that appears on their weighing scales. especially nowadays where being 'thin' is the 'in' thing. magazine covers boast of girls/woman in skimpy bikinis that make you feel 10 times heavier just by looking at them!

current fashion, accessories! skinny jeans, leggings, mini dresses... and mine consists of the ever green, *drums roll, t-shirt, jeans and my beloved sneakers!

to all the girls out there, do not let a piece of cloth, accessory or the number that appears on the weighing scale determine how you feel about yourself cos you ARE wonderfully and beautifully created(:
