prince charming?nah.I dare say most girls secretly wish that her prince charming will one day come galloping on a horse, in his white shining amour and sweeps her off her feet...
its only recently that I realized that I do not need that "kind of guy", white shining amour, horse, blah blah blah.
I will be satisfied if he just comes walking to me decked in t-shirt, jeans and sneakers(:
shall let you in a secret! (can see that you're inching closer to your screen! laughs.)made a pact with God, it is until when I stop viewing boys as potential boyfriends and truly see them as brothers in Christ, that God'll open up doors for me(: (I'll happily give out application forms!)
everyone wants to love and to be loved, me including! however now isn't the right time to dive into a relationship as I am not ready to be committed to one! simple as that. *why shop when you cant buy? get into a relationship when I cant commit?
until then, I'll be enjoying the best gift that I have, being single and serving Him wholeheartedly(:

giraffe
this post is specially dedicated to my favorite animal, the giraffe!
why giraffe you might ask, well I have an exceptionally good impression of them(as compared to the other cutesy, fur balls in the the animal kingdom).
they are relatively quiet in nature, except for the slurping and chomping of leaves during meal times, other than that, they're so peaceful! I marvel at their long necks, beautiful and captivating patterns on their fur.
I've never come across a dead giraffe in the documentaries until today where I googled on the web and images of giraffe that I see them. my heart wrenches just looking at it:(
other than that, I love giraffes! the next time I visit the zoo, I'll make sure I'll stop over to meet and greet the giraffes over there, hope to give them a big, warm and friendly hug!!
there you have it, my number1 animal, the giant yet gentle giraffe(:

helloo February!the starting of 2009 never failed to be challenging with daily obstacles that are constantly being thrown at me. poly life has given her fair share of stress which includes never ending project works and test and heaps of tutorials!
with God's help, I'm glad I survived them and am a better, stronger 18 year old girl(:
am exceptionally proud of myself when I make an effort to run the bedok reservoir at least once a week! that's 4.2km! *beaming. not bad huh. come to a point where I cannot take my health for granted, no matter how busy I may be! a flat tummy doesn't last forever! I've gotta work for it!!
I just found out that I am accepted to go to China for my school's global citizenship programme, part of my cross disciplinary subject. now I have to raise fund for my trip. for 7days it cost around S$1500+. current plan? work as a relief teacher during the holidays and eat bread for lunch!
with the current economic crisis, job retrenchment, pay cut... it seems like the world is turned upside down, but I am glad that my God is still the same! He is the same yesterday, today and forever and I know I can always count on Him! be it good or bad times(: as He will see me through, as He did over the past 18 years.
so with that, cheers to a fruitful, fun and fantastic February!
